Before you start

1. Use Google Chrome on your computer (Safari and Firefox cannot open Box folders from a web page).
2. Make sure Box Drive is installed and signed in, and that you can see the project folder in Finder under Box.
3. Go to collatorium.com, type your email and enter the 6-digit code from your inbox.

Connect your Box folder (once)

1. Click Connect your Box folder (top right).
2. In the window that opens, click Box in the left sidebar. Do not open a subfolder.
3. Click Select (or Open).
4. Chrome asks to let the site view and save files in the folder: click Allow, then Allow again if asked.
5. Type your name when asked. Everything you do is saved under it.

Next time, Chrome may show Allow Box again: click it once. The site never uploads anything; it reads from and writes to your own Box folder, and Box syncs it for the team.

Reviewing

1. Open the Viewer, choose the archive, then a box, folder and leaf, or click Grid to browse thumbnails.
2. Yellow words are disputed. Click one: you see the close-up, the readings by reader, a blank to type your own, "How sure", flag and note. Keys 1–9 choose; ← → move; N goes to the next open spot.
3. Click any other word to keep it, mark it unsure, change its mark-up or type a correction. Click a line number for the whole line: Checked / Unsure, "Outline wrong", a correction blank, flag with reason, note.
4. Photo: scroll or pinch to zoom, drag to move, double-click to zoom in. Switch views (Original, Ink darkened, Contrast, Pencil). Rotate for sideways text. Outlines shows Transkribus line outlines; Spot boxes shows the located spots.
5. Rotation check tab: one card per image; click a colour, or click the image to mark it Error. Copy errors / rechecks / flags give you a list for Excel.

Saving

Every click is saved straight away into Box: one answers file per reader and archive plus an events log (one row per click), in the archive's Collatorium "answers" folder. The status pill at the top says Saved to Box with the time. Copy all and Download give a spreadsheet copy; History lists your entries.

If something does not work

• "Chrome needed": you are not in Chrome.
• "That is not your Box folder": in the chooser, pick the Box folder itself (the one that contains Collatorium_Claude), not a project folder.
• A photo will not open: open it once in Finder (Box › …) so Box downloads it, then reload the page.
• Saved in this browser only: Box is not connected; your answers are kept in this browser until you connect, then written to Box.
